charming stay near vondelpark

The magnolia trees outside were beautiful. They really enhanced the location. my room was clean and simple, exactly what i needed. the staff offered helpful advice. i could easily walk to the museums and explore the neighborhood, it was quiet at night, i liked that.

The hotel included free coffee in the lobby. This was a nice touch, especially in the mornings. i noticed bicycle rentals were available directly at the front desk. there was also a small garden visible from the common area.

the front desk staff provided maps and directions. they offered suggestions for local restaurants. they were helpful with luggage storage upon my early arrival, and were available 24 hours at the front desk.

The hotel is near vondelpark. a tram stop is nearby. It provides quick access to central areas, the neighborhood felt safe to walk around in, and there were cafes nearby. it was a convenient place!

the cleanliness was a PROBLEM. i found dust and what looked to be hair IN the bathroom. the decor felt dated, especially the lighting that never gave enough light.

the staff was cute and offered complimentary coffee upon my arrival. i appreciated that free laundry service was available. the room felt cozy, a pleasant retreat after a day out. this hotel provided a very comfortable, home-like atmosphere.
i noticed that, unfortunately , the cleanliness could have been slightly better, but it was still acceptable given the overall value.

the staff was really kind and helpful. i was offered free coffee when i arrived, which i appreciated. i loved that free laundry service was available to me (it saved me a lot of hassle).
i had some difficulty carrying my suitcase to the upper floors. the carpets in the entrance hall seemed worn and dark (it could use some brightening).

an okay experience

the location worked well. it was super close to the van gogh museum. the beds were comfy. there are double pillows available. the heater worked perfectly .
the shower was not clean. i observed many hairs and mold on walls, joints and ceiling. there was a lot of dust in the room, it was not really cleaned. the door did not close properly, it did not work.
